ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD MOSAIC
We were invited by Adobe to create an artwork and be a part of their Creative Cloud 2014 Premiere in New York. The Creative Cloud Collaborative Mosaic was an innovative project in which 48 artists from around the globe work independently to create one unified piece of branded art.
The final work reveals Creative Cloud logo in a huge, colorful mosaic, that was exhibited in Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and featured on Behance.
HOW WE DID IT?
First off, we used the chocolate splash mesh we made for a other printed ad. After simulating the base splash in Realflow (fluid and dynamics simulation program), we sculpted a lot of details to add visual expression.
Then, we designed a fairly simple blue creature so it could be turned to soft body. We hit it hard about a hundred times to achieve a perfect face-splash. No other creatures were harmed in the process.
The terrified look on its face we’d noticed while waiting for soft body simulation from one frame to another gave us the idea to use all his poses as different guys.
With so many of them, we could fill the splash naturally. It wasn’t easy though, cause every one of them looked another way. Check out the detail and download a WALLPAPER.
