CREATIVE BRIEF

We were briefed with a draft of visual identity, which focused on artist’s hand as a physical link between the maker and his creation. To accommodate our client’s specific project, we decomposed the relation between musician and the sound he creates. Our final concept was recreating the maestro’s gesture as a virtual, three-dimensional sculpture built with interpretation of sound waves.

RESULT

It starts with one straight line, a single string just before it starts to vibrate. A moment later, flying over the sea of sound dissected to symbolic waves we begin to see a shape they create. Referencing anatomical pencil sketches, we decided on a very strong, graphic look. To achieve the feel of grandeur and distinguish perspective we added realistic depth of field. The calm, long camera take finaly revealing the object leaves us with a moment for interpretation while the score composed by Radzimir Dębski ends on a strong note.
